“ART FOR PEACE”
EXHIBITION OF CONTEMPORARY JAPANESE ARTISTS

The exhibition, mounted with the support and under the patronage of the Setsuriosha Foundation for Art Promotion and the Museum Labyrinth Association, has made it for the first time possible for works by modern Japanese artists, associated with this remarkable art project, to be shown in Bulgaria.
The selection of works was made by eminent Japanese artists and art historians. In all, 41 works by 22 authors were shown. In the rich diversity of subject matter, techniques and innovative approaches, the spectators can trace the tendencies and individual creative efforts that have gone into the work of these Japanese artists.
It has really been an exciting experience to come in touch with the mastery and spirit invested in the works of the Japanese pupils of Professor Vincenzo Bianchi.
