THE GLASS PRAYER
PAINTING - DRAWING

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

The exhibition presented the most recent works of Svetlin Rusev interpreting the theme of the meaning of life, each person’s mission and his responsibility to humankind.

THE MASTERS
PAINTING, SCULPTURE, DRAWING
Selected from Svetlin Rusev Donative Collection, Pleven, and Svetlin Rusev Studio Collection, Sofia

With regard to the Masters, Svetlin Rusev says, “I would like to believe that our masters still live in our memory. I would like to believe that the night wears away… And when darkness embraces everything and not one person remains undenied and unrejected, when no one is kept out of pain and we lose our Way and our Faith, worn out and exhausted, when we lose all our hope – the masters return to their children, now white with age, who played grown-ups without ever learning the rules of Life.”

This is the concept of Svetlin Rusev’s exposition called The Masters, displayed at the National Gallery for Foreign Art and presented a part of the Svetlin Rusev Donative Collection – Pleven and the Svetlin Rusev Studio Collection – Sofia.
