„SPANISH MASTERS” 2007
July 30, 2007

Distinguished exponents of the Spanish school, such as Rafael Canogar, Eusebio Sempere, Jose Caballero, Lucio Munez and Amadeo Gabino, were represented with an impressive number of graphic sheets mostly of decorative and monumental inspiration.

To this dominating part of the display were added works by the world famous masters Pablo Picasso and Juan Miro, as well as a drawing by the poet Federico Garcia Lorca from his youthful years. A comprehensive collection of prints by the great Francisco Goya containing sheets from the Capricos, Tauromachia and Disparates series takes us back to the roots of Spanish pictorial genius.
