Exhibition BG Press Photo 2010

Once more the National Gallery for Foreign Art hosted the competition of Bulgarian photojournalists Bg Press Photo 2010. Organizer of the event, included in the cultural calendar of Sofia City Council for 2010, was Tsvetan Tomchev, president of Bg Press Photo Foundation.
At this seventh edition of the exhibition, which according to members of this year’s competition jury was the strongest yet, took part 53 authors in 10 sections. Cameramen from Bulgarian print publications, electronic media, agencies and free lance photographers presented their works. The following participants were awarded a distinction:
- Fifth place: Nedelian Neshev, free lance photographer.
- Fourth place: Marin Krastev, Telegraph newspaper.
- Third place: Tihomir Petkov, Bulphoto Agency.
- Second place: Ivailo Chilingirov, www.digitalstartsbf.com.
- The Grand Prize went to Anton Chalakov from Standard newspaper.
This year, a Diploma for Most Impressive Debut was conferred on Stanimir Stanoev, free lance photographer, participating with a series of photos from Skravena village.
