THE ARCHITECTURE OF NORMAN FOSTER

An exhibition of one of the most successful contemporary architects Norman Foster was opened on December 12, 2007.
The creator of the Millennium Bridge in London, the cupola of the Reichstag in Berlin and the renovated Wembley Stadium arrived to Sofia for the opening of the exhibition together with representatives of his company Foster + Partners.
Norman Foster established Foster + Partners company in 1967 in London. Since its establishment, the company has received over 440 awards and official recognition of its success and has won over 70 international competitions.
Some of the latest projects of Foster + Partners company include the international airport of Beijing, the Millau Viaduct in France, the Hong Kong Airport, the Swiss Re Tower and the Great Court at the British Museum in London.
In 1999, Queen Elizabeth II conferred upon him the title of Lord for merit.
