On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of St. Cyril and St. Methodius International Foundation and five years since the launch of the Competition of Young Artists, Critics and Curators, the International Foundation was an initiator of an exhibition of Bulgarian artists who have received awards for their participation in the Foundation’s annual competition of young artists.
There are a few cultural institutions in Bulgaria, which direct their efforts and render financial support to young Bulgarian talents. Directly engaged in the implementation of the main directions of its activities - the support and popularization of the development of the Bulgarian art as well as the promotion of the dialogue between different cultures - the International Foundation underlined, from the very beginning, the creative and intellectual vitality of the young generation of Bulgarian artists, supporting their most daring experiments as well.
The National Competition of Young Artists, Critics and Curators reveals the ambitions of the Foundation to set up a lasting and prestigious form of presentation stimulating an equal in rights active creative participation of young artists working in the field of the experimental and innovative approaches in the contemporary Bulgarian art.
